Clinical and health psychology

A close, respectful intervention grounded in scientific evidence.

In clinical practice, I aim to support each person or couple closely and respectfully, helping them to better understand their experiences, emotions, relationships and patterns of behaviour.

My core training is in Clinical and Health Psychology. I hold two postgraduate qualifications, one in Couples Therapy and another in Sexology, as well as training in mindfulness.

I am part of the Clinical and Health Psychology Subunit of the Psychology Association of the University of Minho (APsi), within the Health Psychology Consultation service. Sessions are for adults and couples, take place at the APsi premises and can be held in Portuguese or English.

My intervention is grounded in scientific knowledge and adapted to the needs and goals of each person or couple. The pace, focus and working tools are defined together throughout the process.
